Kitchen Staff Required at Hell Pizza Masterton
Hell Pizza Masterton is expanding as we are setting up a new mobile Hell Pizza Caravan to cater the needs of Wairarapa.
We are looking for two full-time kitchen Staff to work in one of the well renowned Pizza restaurants in Masterton.
Job Type: Permanent Full Time
Hours – Minimum 30
Pay rate – NZ $ 25 per hour.
Objective of the role:To provide a high standard of customer service and support across a range of duties.Also, to perform duties within the store that combine both food preparation and customer service. Maybe required to work in all areas of the store such as pizza and food preparation, phones, and counter, as well as any other duties, within reason, from time to time. Operate all store equipment including ovens and register. Responsible for ensuring 100% customer service.
The typical duties and responsibilities include:
Prepare Orders:
Prepare and cook HELL products to brand quality and quantity standards.
Prepare and serve cold drinks, desserts etc.
Package food products accordingly for eat-ins, takeaway or delivery.
Distribute food products to servers and drivers.
Follow food preparation guidelines.
Customer Service
Serve customers promptly, politely and informatively.
Receive phone calls ensuring all calls are answered within 3 rings.
Impart menu information accurately.
Seize opportunities to upsell and encouraging ordering.
Accept payment from customers and provide change as necessary.
Relay food orders and any customer allergen concerns accurately to pizza makers.
Inform customers of any unavoidable changes to their orders and compensate appropriately.
Deal with customer complaints according to HELL complaints procedures.
Record all complaints in Complaints Book.
Manage customer service to a high level of customer satisfaction.
Maintain the highest standards of food and service.
Other Duties:
Cleaning duties as rostered.
Maintaining cleaning and hygiene standards.
Continuously develop skills.
Complete training tracker tests relevant to station roles.
Ensure that your behaviour is always compliant with brand policies.

Relevant experience is desirable not mandatory, however on the job training can be provided to the candidates with the right attitude to work.
Attention to detail to ensure that no step is missed in cooking food.
Early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required.
