We’re looking for a detail-oriented and technically curious
Data Engineer
to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and platforms. This role is ideal for someone passionate about data infrastructure, automation, and enabling data-driven decision-making in a remote-first environment.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain reliable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
Integrate data from multiple internal and external sources.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and availability across systems.
Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and engineers.
Optimize data processing performance and pipeline reliability.
Support data modeling and data warehouse development.
Document data architectures, workflows, and best practices.
✅ Requirements
0–3 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or related roles (internships or project experience accepted).
Proficiency in
SQL
and at least one programming language (
Python, Java, or Scala
).
Familiarity with data warehouses and databases (e.g.,
Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, PostgreSQL
).
Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data modeling principles.
Experience with cloud platforms (
AWS, Azure, or GCP
) is a plus.
Exposure to workflow orchestration tools (
Airflow, dbt, Prefect
) is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment.
Fluent in English
(written and spoken).
Based in Australia with the legal right to work full-time.
