The Role \| Te mahi
We are currently seeking a Fixed Time (minimum 20hrs per week) Houseman to join the Housekeeping team at Sudima Kaikoura Hotel. Working as a valuable member of the housekeeping team, performing tasks as assigned by the Executive Housekeeping Manager or Housekeeping Supervisors. It is your duty to make sure that clean linen is gathered and fully stocked for the housekeeping team, that hallways are tidy and free of rubbish and used linen, and ensure that the hotel is always kept in pristine condition.
Responsibilities \| Ngā haepapa
Work to the highest standards of cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene
Ensure fresh linen is available for Room Attendants at all times
Maintain the cleanliness of public areas
Attend to public bathrooms and replenish bathroom products (e.g. soap, hand lotion)
Report any technical issues and maintenance needs
To provide a warm friendly welcome every time you come into contact with a guest and assist with directions if needed
Ensure that the storeroom is kept neat \& tidy at all times
Use correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces, according to H\&S regulations and hotel requirements
Requirements

Available to work a minimum of 20 hours flexibly across a rostered working week (Including weekends and public holidays)
Previous experience in a similar role is desired but not essential
Takes pride in work and has exceptional attention to detail
Ability to remain calm under pressure, spot and resolve problems efficiently
Willing to go the extra mile to ensure guests make the most of their day
Exceptional grooming and hygiene standards
Valid Right to Work in NZ
