The opportunity

In our global Product Management Team in semiconductors at Hitachi Energy Semiconductors, we are managing and further developing our existing product portfolio on market and customer needs. In this role you'll support us covering internal verticalization products (power semiconductor products used within Hitachi products) and e-mobility.

How You’ll Make An Impact

In this position, you will play a pivotal role in our product management team of advanced power semiconductor device products, including both low and high voltage diodes, IGBTs and MOSFETs chips. You will collaborate closely with design and process specialists to establish customer partnership networks and concept to design-in projects goals and integration plans.

Responsibilities

Your expertise will drive innovation, enhance performance, and position you at the cutting edge of technology, product development and product management. Leveraging your project leadership and acquisitions capabilities, you will bridge technical features with execution strategies, ensuring project success by meeting customer requirements, performance, cost, quality, and time-to-market requirements. Your key responsibilities will include:

Take-over responsibility for e-mobility power semiconductor roadmap and drive its execution forward

Drive global customer partnerships for e-mobility and verticalization activities within Hitachi

Establish Hitachi-wide network for verticalization activities and Power Semiconductor design-ins

Support strategic and financial planning with opportunities from e-mobility and verticalization and secure opportunities

Collaborate with Sales, Application Support and Development to secure orders from this partnership and support the design-in

Manage e-mobility power semiconductor portfolio and steer corresponding product development projects

Demonstrating a strong drive for continuous learning and a systems-level understanding, and sharing that knowledge to elevate the entire project team

Your background

Bachelor, Master or PhD in Electrical Engineering or similar field, ideally specialized in power semiconductor application such as inverter/converters for railway, grid or e-mobility applications

Extensive previous working experience in design/product/technology development/sales of inverters/converters ideally within e-mobility, grid or railway traction area

Proven track record in partnership establishments and concept to design-in project executions

Proven track record of Sales/Product Management/Project experience in e-mobility, grid or traction railway.

In-depth knowledge of power semiconductor devices and applications

Self-motivated person who strives for performance, quality, and lasting relationships in our team and with various stakeholders globally

Proficiency in German and English with strong communication and presentation skills
