Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of software developers, providing guidance and performance feedback;
Develop and execute the IT strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives;
Plan, coordinate, and oversee software development projects to ensure quality and timely delivery;
Maintain IT policies, governance, and compliance with relevant standards;
Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and technology procurement'
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and user experience;
Collaborate with senior management and other departments to deliver impactful technology solutions;
Support future initiatives in Cloud adoption, cybersecurity enhancement, and AI-driven applications.
Requirements
Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline;
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, ideally within retail or consumer-facing businesses;
Strong understanding of retail systems: POS, ERP, inventory, warehouse, and e-commerce platforms;
Technical expertise in software development and tools: C#, .NET Core, React.JS, TypeScript, MS-SQL, MongoDB;
Hands-on experience with CI/CD processes and Kubernetes deployments;
Knowledge of Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), cybersecurity best practices, and AI concepts is highly desirable;
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills;
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and manage multiple priorities.
