As a Senior Software Engineer – Frontend in the Search team, you will:

Build high-performing, user-friendly frontend solutions for web and app platforms.

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver intuitive and scalable features.

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using modern frameworks and development practices.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving engineering standards.

Ensure seamless integration with APIs and attention to responsive, accessible design.

Stay updated with the latest frontend trends and tools and apply them to enhance user experience.

Contribute to sprint planning and actively engage in technical discussions.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

The Locate \& Relevance (Search Team) team drives the search and discovery experience across web and app, ensuring customers find the most relevant products and content at every touchpoint. From search ranking, recommendations, and visual search to scan-code and instant feedback, we deliver experiences that are fast, personalized, and aligned with brand and business goals.

WHO YOU ARE

We’re looking for people with…

6–10 years of experience in frontend development.

At least 5 years of experience building customer-facing web or mobile applications.

Strong hands-on skills with one or more of the following:

Web: JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, React, Vue.js, or Angular and Next.js

Solid understanding of responsive design, REST APIs, and UX principles.

Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.

A team player with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

And people who are familiar with...

AI Tools \& Adaptation

Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or equivalent) to improve coding efficiency, documentation, and problem-solving.

Awareness of Model Context Protocol (MCP) and its role in connecting AI tools with engineering workflows.

Basic working knowledge of Python for scripting, automation, or integrating AI-assisted workflows alongside frontend development.

Ability to evaluate and adapt emerging AI tools into daily engineering practices, promoting productivity, code quality, and team-wide adoption.

Openness to experiment with AI-driven design, testing, and debugging workflows, while maintaining engineering best practice
