Service description:
We are looking for a data engineer to work within a digital and analytics hub with the aim of contributing to initiatives related to data and digitization in order to ensure high-quality data, develop digital tools, and thus enable the energy transition.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to further expand your expertise in data engineering and digitization, while also building bridges between IT professions and the business. You will work in a cross-functional context and thus have a direct impact on operational and strategic decisions.
Delivering integrated data from different sources/systems in line with the approach defined in the data strategy;
Setting up short-term (connections between databases via R, etc.) and long-term solutions;
Analyzing data, visualizing it, and clearly communicating insights to various stakeholders;
Performing advanced analyses (e.g., trends, benchmarks, performance monitoring);
Assessing and improving data quality;
Actively contributing to digitization projects and building data products;
Proposing and developing digital solutions (coding) based on business needs;
Identifying opportunities and risks in data processes and proposing optimizations;
Translating business questions into data-driven solutions;
Working closely with colleagues from other teams and domains.
Additional requirements:
You have a master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience;
You have at least 10 years of experience in data management, data analysis, AI, and software development;
You are analytical, structured, and enjoy working independently and in a team;
You communicate fluently with both technical and business stakeholders;
You have a good knowledge of Python and SQL (knowledge of Spark, Azure/Databricks, TensorFlow, or Power BI is a plus);
You are interested in the energy sector and how data can make an impact there;
