Engineering Manager - Retail Frontend (all genders)

As Engineering Manager - Retail Frontend (all genders) at HolidayCheck, you will lead with a focus on people, process, and frontend product excellence. You’ll foster a high-performance environment where frontend teams build delightful, reliable, and scalable travel experiences. By combining technical leadership with a product-oriented mindset, you will enable engineers to deliver user-facing features that have real business impact.

Lead and develop distributed frontend engineering teams through coaching, mentorship, and career growth

Collaborate closely with Product and Design to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of user-facing features

Continuously improve engineering processes to enhance speed, quality, and team productivity

Drive alignment across product, design, and engineering to deliver cohesive customer experiences

Define and monitor engineering impact through measurable KPIs linked to business outcomes

Promote a culture of ownership, inclusion, excellence, and continuous feedback

Define and uphold service-level objectives (SLOs) for frontend reliability and performance

Plan team capacity, drive hiring, and scale the team to meet product roadmap needs

Solid background in engineering, ideally with deep experience in frontend technologies and platforms

Proven track record in engineering leadership roles, including team management and organizational development

Strong product mindset and ability to translate business goals into scalable technical solutions

Experience leading distributed teams across different locations or time zones

Operational awareness with a focus on delivery predictability and system reliability

Empathetic and outcome-driven leadership style, focused on enabling others to succeed

Excellent communication and collaboration skills across functional and organizational boundaries
