In this role you will be responsible for assessing business needs and inspiring cross-functional product teams to find the fastest way to achieve value around those needs. The role focuses on delivering business value to drive sales, improve efficiency, processes, and associate and customer satisfaction through the delivery of quality products within their designated product or program.
The Principal Product Manager is a seasoned product manager with 2-4 years relevant work experience, a proven track record of delivering excellent results and has had people management experience. They define the product strategies and build the roadmaps that deliver an interconnected experience while communicating across all levels of the organization. Principal Product Managers work closely with developers, designers, and business partners and report to a Senior Manager, Product Management. They evangelize the product and/or program, and continuously coach and mentor direct reports and peers.

Developing and maintaining a short- and long-term program/product roadmap, prioritizing features based on potential value to the customer and business
Translates business goals and end user needs into product strategy; communicates direction and product priorities to the development team, other matrixed teams, and third-party partners
Partners with Finance to understand financial needs and assist in the creation of business plans for new opportunities
Identifies goals, metrics and analytics to determine product value; continually makes recommendations and refinements to the product backlog based on learnings
Monitors research as well as the competitive landscape to ensure that product directions balance both the user needs and business goals of driving sales, improving efficiency and enhancing customer satisfaction
Anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders. Strong prioritization skills with excellent stakeholder expectation setting
Building partnerships and working collaboratively to meet shared objectives. Maneuvering comfortably through complex policy, process, and people-related organizational dynamics

Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles

Minimum Education:
University degree (4) year program or the knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor’s degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
Minimum Years of Work Experience:
Minimum 2 - 4 years' experience including experience as a product leader, managing complex products.
Minimum Leadership Experience:
1–3 years of prior experience in leadership and management
