Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Limited (HKIRC) is a non-profit and non-statutory corporation responsible for the overall administration of “.hk” domain name system, a critical internet infrastructure in Hong Kong. HKIRC is also responsible for the cooperation with local and international bodies on issues relating to the development and administration of internet domain name systems. Responsibilities:
Monitor, investigate, and resolve all IT-related incidents during daily operations. Provide root cause analysis (RCA) down to the code level.
Develop web client and server application;
Execute software testing and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure quality standards;
Requirements:
Degree holder in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent;
A minimum of 1 year experience in web / app development;
Strong understanding of web / app design, responsive design and development principles;
Experienced in frontend Web Development for legacy \& modern system with HTML5, CSS3, .Net, JavaScript, node.js, Angular and Jquery;
Experienced in backend server-side languages such as PHP and JAVA;
Experienced in Git and collaborative workflows (e.g. SVN, GitHub, GitLab, etc);
Experienced in database management including Oracle and MSSQL / MySQL is an advantage;
Experienced in Linux and shell scripting is an advantage;
Candidates must demonstrate hands-on experience with modern AI-powered coding agents or IDEs;
With a passion for output clean, commented, and developer-friendly code;
Perform Ad-hoc task assign by superior and will work in non-office hour;
Shuttle buses Service between Tai Wai, Mei Foo, Tsuen Wan, Tuen Mun, Yuen Long, Kowloon Tong, Olympic, Mongkok, Lam Tin, Yau Tong, Hang Hau, Sheung Wan, Sai Wan, Kennedy Town, Taikoo Shing and Cyberport are available.
