About the Role
As Senior Food \& Beverage / Events Duty Manager, youâll play a central role in the day-to-day running of our venue, leading the front-of-house and event operations to ensure an exceptional guest experience. Reporting to the Head of Operations, youâll act as Duty Manager for weddings, private functions, and restaurant service, ensuring smooth coordination, outstanding hospitality, and adherence to our high standards of quality and service.
This is a hands-on role, perfect for a confident, organised leader who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and has a passion for food, drink, and events.
What Youâll Do
Oversee daily Food \& Beverage operations across weddings, corporate and private events, and the Art Lovers Café
Act as Duty Manager, ensuring the smooth delivery of all services and functions
Lead, motivate, and support the front-of-house and events teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences
Work closely with kitchen, operations, and sales teams to ensure events run seamlessly from planning to execution
Maintain high standards of service, presentation, and professionalism at all times
Monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement in service and operations
Assist with staff training and development to maintain consistency and excellence across departments
Handle guest feedback promptly and professionally, ensuring issues are resolved effectively
Support stock management, cash handling, and compliance with licensing, health \& safety, and hygiene standards
What Weâre Looking For
Proven experience in Food \& Beverage and/or Events Management, ideally in a high-end venue
A strong understanding of weddings, banqueting, and restaurant service
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Calm under pressure, with great attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Smart, professional presentation and a genuine passion for hospitality
Flexibility to work five days over seven, including evenings, weekends, and event schedules
