About the Role: Aws Devops Engineer– Are You the One?
As an AWS DevOps Engineer at Houzeo, you’ll be at the core of our infrastructure, driving cloud deployment, automation, and system reliability. You’ll work hand-in-hand with developers and product managers to build, deploy, and manage cloud-based solutions that support our rapidly scaling real estate tech platform.
This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in AWS services and DevOps practices, who thrives in fast-paced Agile environments and can collaborate across teams. Bonus if you bring experience in PHP/Laravel and a passion for clean, automated workflows.
Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It
✅ Design and manage scalable AWS infrastructure to support development and deployment.
✅ Automate deployments using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD best practices.
✅ Oversee EC2, S3, RDS, and related AWS components.
✅ Monitor system health using CloudWatch, Kibana, and APM tools.
✅ Set up and manage Kibana dashboards, Metricbeat, and app-level monitoring.
✅ Troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure issues swiftly.
✅ Collaborate with developers to ensure smooth code integration and delivery.
✅ Enforce security, compliance, and cloud governance standards.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Solid understanding of AWS cloud architecture and services like EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Load Balancers, CloudWatch, AWS Backup.
Proficient in scripting with Bash or PowerShell.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, GitHub, and Terraform.
Familiar with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience in Agile teams and fast-paced development environments.
Nice to Haves
Familiarity with PHP/Laravel to support backend integration.
Experience with cloud security practices and compliance monitoring.
Exposure to monitoring stacks using ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) and APM tools.
