Job Summary

We’re seeking a highly motivated Data Analytics Engineer to support the development and delivery of robust, scalable, and automated data solutions that enable effective analytics and decision-making across the HUB24 Group. In this role, you will work closely with the Analytics team and key business stakeholders to translate business needs into valuable data assets and insights, enhancing operational efficiency and supporting strategic goals.

You will play a key role in building a deep understanding of the HUB24 data landscape, streamlining multiple data sources into usable and consistent datasets, and ensuring the integrity and scalability of data pipelines. Collaboration is central to this role, with regular engagement across finance, risk, product, operations, technology, and business development teams.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Analytics team to understand business goals and develop data-driven solutions that support performance improvement

Design, develop, and maintain mature, scalable, and reliable data pipelines and assets

Translate complex, multi-source data into a single, accessible data layer to support analytics and visualisation needs

Work with the Data Platform team to ensure monitoring, governance, and long-term stability of data solutions

Where required, support advanced analytics use cases to drive transformative change across the business

Stay up-to-date with emerging data technologies and evaluate their potential to create business value

Collaborate on the prioritisation of projects and ad-hoc requests, aligning them with strategic business outcomes

Contribute to the continuous improvement of data maturity within the team

Manage personal work delivery, timelines, and communicate progress effectively to internal stakeholders

Act as a data partner across the organisation, identifying opportunities where data assets can support commercial decision-making

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience

Strong programming skills in SQL and Python

Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Databricks, DBT, or similar technologies

Proven experience in data management, transformation, or development of scalable data solutions

Understanding of data governance and monitoring practices

Experience partnering with multiple business units to deliver data insights

Background in financial services or consulting in data analytics

Ability to build strong, respectful relationships across diverse teams

Strong influencing and communication skills to drive alignment and outcomes

Confident in presenting complex ideas and insights in a clear, persuasive manner

Demonstrates trust, credibility, and professionalism in all interactions
