Are you passionate about building intuitive, high-impact user interfaces? We're looking for a talented Front-End UI Engineer to help us transform the digital experience in financial services.
Responsibilities
Design and build sophisticated web applications using modern front-end technologies (JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS)
Translate UI/UX wireframes and mockups into functional, visually compelling, and responsive web pages
Build and maintain reusable code and component libraries for scalability and maintainability
Optimise applications for speed, performance, and cross-browser compatibility
Integrate APIs and services to connect front-end interfaces with back-end systems
Collaborate with UX, Product, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver cohesive solutions
Drive analytics implementation to enhance user engagement and data-driven development
Champion the adoption of design system components across the organisation
Assist with system maintenance, documentation, and occasional after-hours support as needed
Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a front-end software engineer
Expert proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
Experience building and integrating UI components (native web component and Lit experience preferable)
Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility
Experience with source control (Git) and CI/CD environments
Experience with automated unit testing
Strong documentation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively
