AWS DevOps Engineer

Role Overview:
As an
AWS DevOps Engineer
, you will be responsible for the implementation, management, and continuous improvement of their
CI/CD
pipelines. You will work closely with their development and IT teams to ensure efficient deployment and operation of their software solutions. This role demands a strong background in
UNIX/Linux
, alongside expertise in
Ansible
and
Terraform
.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using DevOps and Jenkins.
Collaborate with software development and IT operations teams to ensure smooth and reliable deployments.
Maintain and optimize Kubernetes clusters and Docker containers for scalable application deployment.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like
Terraform
or
Ansible
Automate and streamline operations and processes.
Monitor and troubleshoot application performance and system health.
Implement and maintain security best practices within the DevOps environment.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices to ensure the continuous improvement of our DevOps processes.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a strong background in
AWS
and
UNIX/Linux
.
Expertise in DevOps, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and Docker.
Proficiency in Python or PowerShell scripting and automation.
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible templates.
Strong understanding of security best practices in a DevOps context.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
