Currenlty, we are looking for DevOps engineer for one of our clients.
Role and Responsibilities of the DevOps Engineer:
Designs and optimizes the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) foundation for SAP solutions.
Supports service teams in engineering and troubleshooting operational services on GCP.
Develops domain architecture to ensure agility, continuity, and cost-efficiency of IT solutions.
Implements Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and GitHub, with Security and FinOps as guiding principles.
Defines IT solutions that meet business requirements and align with architectural and operational standards.
Ensures formal alignment through Design Permits and Joint Architecture Reviews.
Translates global designs into actionable development and implementation plans, including input for test strategies and SLAs.
Reviews designs, test plans, and reports, and guides the realization process.
Contributes to implementation and operational readiness, including documentation and service agreements
Key Characteristics and Requirements:
Acts as a knowledge resource and sparring partner for colleagues and senior management.
Works in international project teams with diverse disciplines and stakeholders.
Contributes to innovation, standardization, and cost reduction in architecture practices.
Advises on business architecture and influences decision-making.
Holds a university-level degree in IT or business administration.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
Deep expertise in GCP fundamentals (networking, security, landing zones), Terraform, and GitHub.
Strong understanding of data and information architecture and relevant business processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
