Position: Associate Product Manager Date: July 2025

Location: North Syracuse, NY

POSITION OVERVIEW: The Associate Product Manager supports the Product Management team in the development and success of a product or product line. This entry\-level role is focused on assisting with product planning, research, and execution tasks across the product lifecycle. The Associate Product Manager works under the guidance of senior team members and collaborates with cross\-functional teams including engineering, marketing, project management and sales to help ensure that products meet market needs and are delivered successfully.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Product Strategy and Planning:

· Assist in gathering and organizing market research and voice of customer (VOC) feedback to inform the product roadmap.

· Help create marketing requirements documents and business cases while tracking progress toward milestones.

· Support alignment of product roadmaps with business goals through collaboration with senior team members and stakeholders.

Product Development and Execution:

· Work with the engineering and sales team to help translate product ideas into business plans.

· Help prioritize basic product features and improvements based on direction from manufacturers representatives, contractors, and the sales team.

· Track project timelines and assist with all facets of the product launch including the Go\-to\-Market Strategy.

· Develop a general understanding of future technologies affecting the HVAC industry.

Market Analysis and Customer Insights:

· Conduct comprehensive competitive research and gather customer input through surveys, interviews, and field visits.

· Compile and summarize research findings to support product recommendations.

· Use available data and analytics tools to provide insights to the team.

Go\-to\-Market Strategy:

· Support marketing and sales teams by gathering product details and coordinating messaging and materials.

· Assist with drafting the value proposition, trainings, webinars, and promotional materials for internal and external use.

· Help prepare sales enablement tools and assist in coordinating training sessions for internal teams.

Performance Tracking and Optimization:

· Help monitor product usage and customer feedback using available analytics platforms. Develop a continuous loop of product feedback post launch.

· Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and compile performance reports. Work closely with the sales team to forecast new product launches.

· Assist in conducting post\-launch reviews and gathering insights for future improvements.

Cross\-functional Collaboration:

· Communicate updates and gather input from teams across engineering, marketing, sales, and operations.

· Schedule and prepare materials for meetings and product updates.

· Collaborate on cross\-functional projects and assist in managing timelines and deliverables.

Potential travel up to 15–20%

Additional duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field.

Experience: 1–3 years of experience in product management, product development, or a related field preferred.

Internships or academic projects in a technical or business environment are a plus.

Prior knowledge of the HVAC industry is also a plus.

Job Type: Full\-time

Pay: $90,000\.00 \- $105,000\.00 per year
