About the Role
We are seeking a
Data Engineer
to design, build, and maintain the data infrastructure that underpins performance and operational insights. This role will be central to ensuring that coaches, scouts, and staff have accurate, timely, and actionable data to support decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have strong cloud experience, with proven ability in Python, API integration, and web scraping. They will be skilled in storing and organising data effectively, with the ultimate goal of enabling powerful visualisations and presentations for coaches and scouts.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage data pipelines and systems to support both performance and operational analysis.
Integrate multiple data sources (wearables, video, performance platforms, and more) into centralised systems.
Collaborate with analysts, coaches, and staff to ensure data is accurate, reliable, and accessible.
Ensure compliance with data security, governance, and best-practice standards.
Provide technical expertise to enhance the clubs data-driven decision-making processes.
Key Skills \& Experience
Strong cloud platform experience (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Proficiency in
