Job Purpose
The Product Manager – Gold Loan will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the gold loan product within the Retail Banking division. Based in Mumbai, this role involves product ideation, planning, and execution across multiple channels, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goals. The incumbent will work closely with cross-functional teams including Risk, IT and Compliance to deliver a high-quality product experience and maintain portfolio health.
Role \& Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
Lead product ideation, conceptualization, planning, and execution throughout the product lifecycle, based on customer requirements across various channels
Derive actionable consumer insights to inform product development and strategy
Collaborate with Risk teams to design products tailored to different customer segments and take proactive actions based on portfolio performance
Ensure strict adherence to compliance guidelines and audit requirements
Maintain the right product mix and ensure high portfolio quality
Publishing various MISs to give insights to top management and driving business and proposing various contests to boost business
Conduct competitor benchmark to track pricing, schemes and customer value propositions
Incentive Calculations and driving various contests
Manage Vendor Payouts
Secondary Responsibilities
Drive channel development initiatives to expand product reach and customer engagement
Recommend improvements to product features and processes to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency
Track Industry trends, regulatory changes and competitors’ strategies to identify potential risk and opportunities
Education Qualification
Post Graduation: MBA/PGDM
Graduation: Any
Experience
Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in product management within retail banking or financial services within BFSI industry. Strong background in asset-based lending, especially gold loans, is highly desirable.
