We are seeking an experienced and visionary Global Medical Affairs Lead – Insomnia to join our Global Medical Affairs team. This role will provide strategic medical leadership across the full product lifecycle and play a pivotal role in shaping the global medical and brand strategy for our insomnia portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a core member of the Global Medical Affairs Leadership Team and Product Lifecycle Team

Lead the development and execution of the Global Medical Affairs strategy for insomnia products

Manage and develop a small team of Global Medical Directors, Medical Event Manager and Medical Affairs Trainer

Co-lead the global brand strategy for daridorexant (QUVIVIQ) in close collaboration with the Global Marketing Lead

Communicate the medical and scientific value of assets in a compelling and credible manner to internal and external stakeholders

Lead a team of content experts supporting them to deliver the

  • Medical and scientific communication plan including publications

  • Scientific presence at major international congresses

  • Development of scientific materials for internal training and external engagement

  • Medical content for MSL field teams and educational meetings

Chair the daridorexant Publication Working Group in partnership with the Publication Manager

Define and execute Phase IIIb, Phase IV, real-world evidence, and data-mining strategies

Partner closely with Global Clinical Development for all other daridorexant trials to provide medical input into study concepts and protocols; trial execution, data interpretation and reporting

Contribute to the review and approval of investigator-sponsored trials, ensuring scientific integrity and compliance

Qualifications \& Experience

MD

15+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry

Extensive experience in Medical Affairs, including senior global leadership roles

Proven track record in leading global medical strategy for late-stage and/or marketed products

Strong track record in broad/primary care and specialist disease product commercialization

Strong experience in CNS therapeutic areas, preferably insomnia, sleep medicine, neurology, or psychiatry

Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional and global teams

Hands-on experience with:

  • Publications and Congress strategy

  • Phase IIIb/IV and real-world evidence generation

  • Collaboration with Clinical Development on trial design and execution

Strategic mindset with a sense of urgency and strong execution capabilities

Exceptional scientific communication and influencing skills

Ability to translate complex data into compelling medical narratives

Ability to inspire and lead teams effectively within an entrepreneurial, matrix and multi-cultural environment

Ability to successfully engage at executive leadership level and with international key stakeholders

High ethical standards and deep understanding of medical governance and compliance
