Contract 3 months (with potential of full time)

Full Time (Mon - Fri \| 9am - 5pm)

Contract $4k Month + Super per month

About Us

Disruptor Post is a fast-growing film and TV post-production studio specialising in high-end visual effects and pioneering colourisation technology. Our proprietary "Colour with Care" software is setting new global standards in the restoration and enhancement of classic film, television and historical footage. Based near Wollongong and working with international partners, we are passionate about storytelling, innovation, and supporting the creative community. As we expand our vision and operations, we're looking for an organised and energetic Junior Programmer to work with our dev team that has a passion for code, AI, and wants to help build the next exciting tools for our suite.

*Areas we are working in*

Software dev for Image \& Video editing, manipulation and processing

Creating plugins (Davinci Resolve, file management and more)

*Job Specifications*

Mapping, researching and building out macro/plugins as required for Davinci Resolve or other visual editing software

Help build or maintain existing video or picture editing or manipulation tools

Building GUIs

Building databases

Help on basic video edit and export tasks

Help on basic video or image colour tasks

other jobs or tasks as directed by the manager or key operational leaders of the company

*Technical Skills*

Fundamental understanding of Python

Experience with Go (Golang)

Minimum 6 months' experience with Go (Golang) required

Experience with NodeJS (Javascript)

Experience with building frontends using tools like Svelte (or experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript)

Comfortable with navigating / deploying software to Linux operating systems

Essential skills required: Python, Go, and NodeJS experience
