Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
Develop and implement state of the art IC design methodology software solutions
Contribute to next generation IP integration and mixed signal methodologies
Gather requirements from internal users and collaborate across digital and analog design teams
Apply best practices and insights from benchmarks, evaluations, and customer interactions to further methodology development
Drive workflow automation, data handling, and integration of multitool design flows
Support troubleshooting and debugging across IC design methodologies and EDA tool chains
Share knowledge and collaborate with analog and digital methodology experts within Infineon
Explore, evaluate, and introduce emerging methodology software innovations and industry trends
Contribute to the continuous refinement of design flow infrastructure, tools, and software quality
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Microelectronics
Strong programming and scripting skills (e.g., Perl, SKILL, Python) with at least 6 years of relevant experience
Solid understanding of digital, analog, and mixed-signal IC design methodologies
Experience with Cadence or Synopsys EDA tools
Proficiency with Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems is required
Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) and software engineering best practices
Strong debugging and problem solving skills in complex EDA environments
Excellent English communication skills; German skills are an asset
Strong collaboration and stakeholder interaction abilities, including requirement gathering from design teams
We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group H (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
