Job Description – Python Developer (with Databricks)

About The Role
We are looking for a skilled
Python/FastAPI Developer
with strong experience in building scalable data-driven web applications and APIs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in
Python (Pandas)
for data processing, exposure to
PySpark/Databricks
for distributed workloads. Experience in
user authentication, role-based access control (RBAC), and backend security
is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using FastAPI.
Implement and optimize data processing pipelines using Python (pandas) and PySpark.
Integrate APIs with front-end components for smooth end-to-end workflows.
Build secure authentication and authorization modules (OAuth2, JWT, Azure AD, etc.).
Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps, and data engineering teams.
Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and performance tuning.
Required Skills
Strong proficiency in Python and libraries like pandas, NumPy, and requests.
Experience in FastAPI or similar frameworks (Flask, Django REST).
Good understanding of REST API design, versioning, and documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI).
Familiarity with SQL and data modeling concepts.
Experience in implementing user authentication, RBAC, and API security.
Exposure to CI/CD, Git, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
Good to Have
Experience with PySpark for large-scale data processing.
Knowledge of Databricks platform and Azure Data Services.
Working knowledge of ReactJS for UI development and integration.
Understanding of event-driven architectures and microservices.
