Required Skills \& Experience
3-5+ years of Product Experience (ideally a bit more senior)
Agile experience, understanding of sprint ceremonies
Stakeholder Management
Jira experience, writing stories in Jira
Strategic thinking and vision setting
Adaptability in a fast-changing technological landscape
Experience in retail, e-commerce, or customer experience technology
Ecommerce/Retail analytics experience
Nice to Have Skills \& Experience
Technical acumen is a plus
Product Owner Certification - CSPO plus
Solid understanding of cloud technologies and Microsoft PowerBI
Knowledge of modern frontend and backend frameworks
Understanding of emerging technologies like AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics
Job Description
Insight Global’ s client is looking for a confident Product Manager to join their team to lead one of the Agile Pods in their Omnichannel Analytics team. The goal is to build one single source of truth platform for their Omnichannel team globally. The long-term end goal is to eventually have AI predictive analytics but they are not there yet. They are calling this Commercial Analytics Platform. They are splitting the this pod into two pods and this Product Owner will lead one pod.
They are looking for a Product Owner who can work with the business stakeholders, understanding what the business problem is, understand the solution and what they are trying to build. Then working with the development team and how do we get this work done from a data engineering side, from a front-end side, etc. Take it from high level working with the business (sales team, business team) taking their ideas, and work with the development team to iterate on this and make it better for their users. They will be managing the JIRA boards, being able to track everything the team is doing. Where are there dependencies and blockers. Owning that the work will be executed on time and if it’s not going to be, clearly articulating that to the business on sprint reviews how we will get back on track. There will be a dedicated Scrum Master, but this person will be expected to attend all the ceremonies. Someone else will be leading the refinement, but this person will be an engaged member of the agile team.

Ensure alignment between technical solutions and business objectives
Clear any development hurdles that may arise, whether it be closing technical knowledge gaps, finding answers to product questions, or streamlining existing operations.
Develop strong relationships with stakeholders to understand their business objectives and partner on technology solutions
