We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Java Developer to join our growing team.

Qualifications:

Overall 6-10+ years of experience in software engineering and DevOps.

Strong background in Java-based application development and modern DevOps practices.

Experience working in Agile delivery environments

Must Haves:

Strong hands-on experience with Java, Python, Groovy, Spring, Bash, JSON, NodeJS.

Proven experience in DevOps processes – build, deploy, troubleshoot, and support.

Experience with AWS Cloud services (Lambda, SNS/SQS, Step Functions, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, EC2).

CI/CD tools and frameworks: Maven, Jenkins, AWS CloudFormation, Serverless frameworks.

Version control using Git.

Test Driven Development (TDD) using JUnit and mocking frameworks.

Strong experience working on Linux and Windows platforms.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with Business Analysts and stakeholders.

Preferred:

Experience with AWS Serverless architectures

Familiarity with IntelliJ IDE

Exposure to enterprise-scale systems in financial services or regulated environments

Experience contributing to on-call and out-of-hours support models

Role \& Responsibilities:

Analyse system requirements and produce technical designs

Develop, enhance, and maintain application software

Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and agreed development processes

Perform unit and integration testing; create effective test plans

Support applications by responding to incidents and resolving production issues

Participate in CI/CD and continuous improvement initiatives

Provide technical advice and recommendations to business stakeholders

Identify and propose technical improvements to enhance business outcomes

Contribute to Agile ceremonies and apply Agile principles in daily work

Support rollout of system enhancements and releases

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
