Salary range (but not limited to):

128,300 - 156,800Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

About the role

We are looking for a bilingual (FR-EN) Manager, DevSecOps.

What you'll do here:

Become part of a high-profile team, with a multitude of stimulating challenges, including management of all development, security and operations: delivery and automation platform, expert in site reliability engineering, infrastructure and Lab security.

Drive the Continuous Integration and Deployment vision, convert it into objectives and a clear roadmap with the Product Manager and development teams, and then materialize this vision by designing and deploying the development, security and operations platform (DevSecOps).

Ensure the performance, quality, security, observability and support of delivered solutions and tools.Monitor team progress and share constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.

Develop productive and committed teams by promoting the development of personal and technical skills; mentor members in their career progression and manage performance via continuous coaching and feedback.

Work with the team to validate technical feasibility and deliver products of the highest quality; identify opportunities for component reuse and optimization.

Implement strategies to eliminate inefficient or unnecessary processes, while mitigating risks.

Continuously evolve development practices, tools and processes to increase team autonomy and efficiency, and achieve our digital leadership objectives.

Act as the main technical contact for the organization's other technology teams, and collaborate on an ongoing basis with all digital team managers.

Develop productive and committed teams, fostering the development of personal and technical skills, as well as collaboration.

Anticipate problems and difficult situations and take the necessary steps to resolve them.

Manage the relationships and expectations of stakeholders and senior management.

Maintain a strong business orientation with an understanding of the current and strategic direction of Intact's technologies.

Stay abreast of new technologies and challenge the status quo.

What you bring to the table:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Software Engineering or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

3 to 5 years' experience in resource management.

Excellent understanding of the software development cycle.

Solid experience in delivering products in Agile/Scrum mode in software development.

A good grasp of the following concepts: Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD), Infra as Code, Alternative Deployment (blue/green), A/B Testing.

Excellent command of modern development, security and operating tools: Kubernetes/Openshift,Docker, Github action, , Git, Nexus, ELK.

Good knowledge of cloud computing environments such as AWS or GCP.

Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Datadog, etc. (asset).

Experience with No SQL databases such as MongoDB (asset).

Minimum of 8 years' experience combining software development and development, security and operations (DevSecOps).

Bilingualism required (FR-EN) - Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.

No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
