Overview
Our client, a leading global financial services firm, is seeking a Product Manager to own and deliver key IM capabilities across the front, middle, and back office of their international marketing business.
This role blends strategic product ownership with hands-on delivery, acting as the bridge between Traders, Sales Managers, Operations, and Technology. You will drive the discovery, definition, and delivery of technology and process enhancements that create real commercial impact in a fast-paced global environment.
Key Responsibilities
Define and own the product roadmap for risk and compliance systems supporting Marketing IM.
Gather, prioritise, and refine requirements from risk, compliance, and trading stakeholders.
Translate business needs into clear product specifications and delivery plans.
Partner with engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions for risk reporting, P\&L attribution, and compliance.
Drive adoption of tools such as real-time dashboards, risk monitoring, and scenario analysis platforms.
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to enhance and integrate commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) risk platforms.
Essential Skills \& Experience
5+ years of product management or business analysis experience in commodities or capital markets.
Hands-on experience with ETRM, CTRM, or trading platforms.
Strong track record working with front-office users in fast-paced environments.
Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
Proficient in SQL, Excel, and dashboarding tools with strong analytical skills.
Solid understanding of risk concepts (market, credit, liquidity, operational).
