Position Overview
Post Frame Advantage develops business solutions for the North American post-frame industry. Our work is split between two main pillars: a proprietary software suite that manages the entire building lifecycle and building materials designed to improve common structural requirements. We’re a team dedicated to improving industry standards through innovation and reliable support for our partners.
Reporting to the Software Development Supervisor, the Software Developer is responsible for developing, and maintaining software applications. This role demands a solid understanding of React, PHP and MySQL in the Laravel framework, combined with the ability to build efficient, scalable, user-friendly applications.
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and maintain interactive web applications using React, PHP and MySQL
Develop and integrate APIs for seamless communication between software components
Utilize GitHub for version control and collaboration on projects
Troubleshoot and debug applications to enhance performance and user experience
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and contribute innovative ideas
Education/Experience Requirements
Education:
Diploma or a University degree in software development an asset
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years experience in React, PHP and MySQL
Experience with version control systems, such as Git or GitHub
Experience with the Laravel framework would be considered an asset
Skills/Qualifications
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Well organized with strong attention to detail
Demonstrates professionalism, flexibility and ‘can do’ attitude
Demonstrates understanding and adherence to a high level of confidentiality
Knowledge of construction design an asset
Work Environment
This position offers a flexible hybrid work model based out of headquarters, with the option for fully remote work for the right candidate.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
