Who You Are

We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing GitHub workflows, expertise in continuous integration (CI) tools and software architecture and extensive experience with JIRA.

This role is critical to ensuring the seamless integration and deployment of our firmware solutions, enhancing our development processes, and driving innovation in DevOps infrastructure.

Your responsibilities may include but not be limited to:

GitHub Workflows Management: Design, implement, and maintain efficient GitHub workflows to automate development processes and improve collaboration across teams.

Continuous Integration (CI): Develop and manage CI pipelines using industry-standard tools to ensure rapid and reliable software delivery.

Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI practices into the FW development lifecycle.

Architecture Expertise: Provide architectural guidance and support to development teams, ensuring scalable and robust solutions.

Evaluate and recommend DevOps architectural improvements to enhance system performance and reliability.

JIRA Administration: Utilize JIRA to manage project tasks, track progress, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Customize JIRA workflows to optimize project management and reporting.

Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, validators, architecture to ensure seamless integration and deployment of solutions.

Monitoring and Optimization: Implement monitoring solutions to track system performance and identify areas for improvement.

Optimize infrastructure and processes to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.

Firmware Development: Develops software with a direct interface to hardware, IPspecific firmware.

Responsible for designing and implementing interfaces that abstract low level hardware details from higher levels of software and firmware, performing design and code reviews, as well as testing and validating product implementations.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Extremely proficient in Linux programming.

Extremely proficient in scripting languages such as Python.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Qualifications:

You must possess the minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications

The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 3 years’ experience in DevOps domain.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in CPU arch/uarch and SOC Power Management

Proven experience in managing GitHub workflows and repositories.

Experience in CI tools such as GitHub Actions.

Expertise in software architecture and design principles.

Experience with JIRA administration and customization.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:

$126,420.00-239,750.00 USD

The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations.
