currently investing in modernising its digital platforms and customer-facing technology.
This role sits within a growing engineering team responsible for building
scalable, modern web applications
that power high-volume digital experiences. The focus is on delivering clean, performant frontend solutions while integrating seamlessly with enterprise APIs and backend services.
We’re looking for a
Senior Frontend Engineer
who enjoys building modern React applications, contributing to frontend architecture and collaborating closely with product and UX teams to deliver intuitive digital experiences.
What you’ll be doing
Build modern
React-based single page applications (SPA)
for large-scale digital platforms
Develop reusable UI components aligned to design systems
Collaborate with product, UX and engineering teams to deliver high-quality digital experiences
Integrate frontend applications with
REST APIs and shared platform services
Contribute to frontend architecture and engineering standards
Improve performance, scalability and maintainability of digital applications
Participate in code reviews and mentor other engineers within the team
Support continuous improvement of engineering practices within an Agile environment
Must-have experience
Strong frontend engineering experience using
React and TypeScript/JavaScript
Experience building
single page applications (SPA)
Strong understanding of
modern frontend architecture and component-based development
Experience integrating frontend applications with
REST APIs
Strong experience working within
Agile delivery environments
Ability to collaborate closely with
product managers, designers and engineers
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to performance and scalability
Highly regarded
Experience working with
design systems or component libraries
Experience working on
enterprise-scale digital platforms
Exposure to
cloud-based environments
Experience mentoring developers or contributing to engineering standards
Previous experience within
financial services or other regulated environments
