About the team you are joining
You will join the Business Partnering team in the Human Resources (HR) department, called in IATA People Performance and Development (PPD). Reporting to the Assistant Director, Chief of Staff of the Product \& Services Business Unit, you will work closely with directors, managers and employees based in Geneva, Montreal and Amsterdam in order to develop an HR agenda that closely supports the overall aims of the organization - as specified below
What your day would be like
Understand business vision of the departments you are in charge; ensure HR activities and initiatives are aligned with business strategy \& goals
Embed the HR strategy in assigned departments in close coordination with the Assistant Director PPD Business Partnering
Act as a single point of contact for the Geneva-, Montreal- and Amsterdam-based employees and managers in the assigned business units
Provide guidance and proactive support with recruitment, induction, performance management, learning and development, talent review, succession planning, compensation, employee engagement
Act as a recruiter for positions based in Geneva, Montreal and Amsterdam
Advise and communicate on internal policies and processes; coordinate issues related to the local labor laws in order to find suitable solutions; resolve complex employment issues and address grievances
Coach, advise, guide and mentor internal customers as appropriate to influence organizational culture and performance
Act as a change agent in alignment with the business \& HR strategy
Perform any other tasks as requested by the Assistant Director, PPD Business Partnering
We would love to hear from you if
Have minimum 5 years’ successful experience working in an HR function focusing on business partnering
Demonstrate a solid business acumen
Can build strong business relationships and influence the organizational strategy
Are solutions oriented with a “can-do” attitude and a strong collaboration mindset
You are fluent in English.
