Job Summary

As an Engineering Program Manager, you play a key role in the execution, coordination, and continual improvement of how Engineering delivers. You collaborate with Engineering leaders, technical teams, and Product/Business stakeholders to ensure work is planned well, dependencies are managed, risks are surfaced early, and delivery happens predictably. While this role primarily supports our Technology Operations teams, including DevOps, Security, Quality, and Platform functions, it will also help enable the entire Engineering function.

This role is ideal for someone who is deeply comfortable operating in technical environments and wants ownership of operational delivery and engineering-wide process improvement. You’ll define and evolve the delivery systems (cadences, visibility, governance, tooling, metrics) that help teams execute effectively, while also spending a portion of your time partnering with Product Operations on broader cross-functional process improvements.

Job Responsibilities

You are responsible for enabling consistent, visible, low-friction delivery across multiple technical teams. In this role, you’ll be expected to:

Delivery Management

Drive cross-team delivery with customer empathy: Own execution across multiple technical teams by translating objectives into clear plans (scope, sequencing, milestones), grounded in customer and business context so the work stays connected to the “why".

Orchestrate dependencies and decision-making: Proactively surface cross-team dependencies, risks, and tradeoffs; drive timely decisions; and keep stakeholders aligned through crisp updates and escalation when needed.

Run the operating system for delivery: Improve and facilitate the core cadences that keep your teams aligned—planning cycles, roadmap reviews, retrospectives, and post-incident reviews—with clear inputs, outputs, and follow-through.

Engineering Enablement

Streamline how work flows through Engineering: Identify friction and simplify end-to-end workflows (intake prioritization execution release), reducing coordination overhead and enabling teams to move faster with less effort. Ensure process changes are documented, easy to adopt, and measurable—so improvements persist across teams and quarters.

Build workflow automation: Implement hands-on automation to remove repetitive work and improve consistency—leveraging tooling, automation tools, and AI to accelerate updates, triage, reporting, and routine operational tasks.

Measure what matters and turn signals into improvements: Establish and monitor delivery and quality signals and use them to drive process changes that improve internal efficiency and customer outcomes.

Developer experience \& enablement: Identify recurring friction that slows engineers down and drive initiatives that improve day-to-day productivity—clearer standards, better onboarding and playbooks, improved tooling, and lightweight enablement programs.

Qualifications

Proven experience leading cross-functional engineering programs end-to-end (scoping, planning, execution, risk management, delivery) across multiple teams.

Strong technical foundation (degree in a technical field or equivalent experience) with the ability to engage credibly on architecture, systems, and delivery tradeoffs in platform/operations-adjacent domains.

Demonstrated ability to connect execution to customer and business outcomes—defining success criteria, aligning stakeholders on priorities, and navigating tradeoffs in ambiguous environments.

Excellent influence and stakeholder leadership skills (driving alignment without authority, facilitating decisions, resolving conflicts, and ensuring follow-through).

Track record of driving operational excellence: improving how teams plan, coordinate, and deliver through scalable practices and measurable change adoption.

Strong analytical approach: using delivery and quality signals to identify root causes, prioritize improvements, and validate impact.

Exceptional communication (written and verbal), including concise, leadership-ready updates and clear escalation of risks/decisions.

Why Introhive?

At Introhive, we believe people do their best work when they feel trusted, empowered, and supported. That’s why we value outcomes over hours, curiosity over perfection, and collaboration over ego. You'll have room to grow, tools to succeed, and a team that’s got your back.
