International Bank based in London, are looking to hire a Senior Manager - Product Governance and Business Support, to join their expanding Corporate Banking department.
Main responsibilities will include;
Drive the product development within Corporate Banking alongside existing product verticals and expand on product range via product proposals
Affirm that support specific for Corporate Banking is undertaken by COO team to ensure that all risks as identified on ongoing basis through the Risk Forum and Branch Risk Committee are managed in an appropriate manner and in line with the risk appetite through the development of a control framework within first line.
Ensure adequate functioning of Business Risk and Control Management (“BRCM”) under COO function for the Corporate Banking business model is reported and externally reflected to 2LoD via Ops Risk
Joint responsibility with Head of Trade Finance Sales on utilization of existing FI trade flows (with support from Trade Finance Middle Office)
Ensure output from regulatory horizon scanning is embedded within the team and complies with the requirements as outlined from Systems and Controls sourcebook
Provide system requirements on behalf of Corporate Banking for increasing efficiencies of Operational process through elements such as Artificial Intelligence solutions
Focus on digital efforts for the London Branch in coordination with appropriate stakeholders
Review details of changes to systems in line with Group Requirements
Carry out UAT of the new/ modified Compliance/Governance systems, provide suggestions and remedies if required
Where appropriate, make recommendations for referrals to third party providers for screening
To be considered for this position, ideal candidates must have the following experience \& skills;
6 years experience within UK Banking Industry in one of the following areas: Product specialization, KYC/CDD, Compliance or Governance
Previous experience to include interaction with: Large corporates and multinational configuration \& Trade finance
Proficient in Excel (Advanced Level Desirable)
Excellent command of written and spoken English
Excellent interpersonal and verbal skills
An able team player
Ability to work on own initiative and ability to prioritise work
Exceptional time management skills with the ability to thrive whilst working under pressure
Accurate organized individual, flexible and happy to undertake any task in support of the team members and thus the client
Should have a positive “can do” attitude combined with a flexible approach to the tasks required
