Software Engineer

IT Search has partnered with a global insurance organisation to appoint a Full Stack Software Engineer to their Dublin based technology team.
This role sits within a collaborative engineering group responsible for delivering and evolving modern internal platforms used across a large international business. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of scalable web applications and services, working closely with engineers, architects and product stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain backend services using C# and modern .NET technologies
Build and enhance web based user interfaces using frameworks such as Blazor, Angular, React or similar
Design and implement REST based integrations and APIs
Work with relational databases to support application data requirements
Contribute to code quality initiatives, including reviews, testing and engineering best practices
Collaborate with cross functional teams within an Agile development environment
Experience Required
Background in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience
Strong understanding of object oriented programming and software design principles
Commercial experience developing applications within the .NET ecosystem
Experience building modern web applications, including frontend technologies such as Blazor or similar frameworks
Familiarity with REST APIs, relational databases and Git based development workflows
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines or modern development practices
