Jember Spain is looking for
offices in Madrid, Valencia, and Malaga, BE Developers
to help us build good software quality for our customers. Someone who knows a lot about backend development and microservices and wants to be the technical interface with clients to design, develop, maintain, and monitor the projects and help the rest of the team.
In this role, you will design and implement microservices to ensure the quality of new SW solutions for Top brands/OEMs in the automotive sector. You will be involved in the software lifecycle process. As well as the solution's integration into the DevOps system and test management tools.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will be responsible for:
Design and Develop Microservices:
-Architect and implement scalable, reliable, and maintainable microservices.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Optimize and Improve Existing Microservices:
-Analyze and enhance the performance of existing microservices.
-Refactor and re-architect services for improved efficiency and scalability.
Implement CI/CD Pipelines:
-Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless integration anddeployment of microservices.
-Automate build, test, and deployment processes to enhance development productivity.
Monitor and Troubleshoot Services:
-Utilize monitoring tools to ensure the health and performance of microservices.
-Proactively identify and resolve issues to maintain high availability and reliability.
Collaborate and Communicate:
-Work closely with DevOps, QA, and other engineering teams to streamline development and deployment processes.
-Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and provide constructive feedback
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS \& COMPETENCIES
Qualifications: Engineering Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar
Working experience of 4 years minimum
Strong back-end development experience, with a solid background in Java (version 8 or 17) andSpring Boot
Knowledge about Azure Cloud, API, microservices development, and Restful APIs
Experience with relational databases such as Postgres and Azure SQL Server and databasemigration tools (Flyway)
Experience with non-relational databases like Redis
Experience with containerization using Docker
Experience with Kubernetes
Very good communication, presentation skills, customer orientation, creativity, an agilemindset and conflict-resolving capabilities are some of the fundamental soft skills
Experience working in a SCRUM environment
Languages: A high level of English is mandatory. German would be an advantage
NICE TO HAVE:
Experience with Elasticsearch
Experience in developing microservices applying hexagonal architectures
Knowledge of software design patterns
Experience with Linux
Experience with other programming languages (Kotlin, Python...)
Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or Azure Service Bus
