We are looking for
a Data Analyst/ Analytics Engineer
working in our Hanoi office, who will create, optimize Jitsu tools to solve the last mile challenges and help define and drive the next iteration of Jitsu products. The data analyst is part of the product team that is focused on delivering exceptional experiences to our drivers, clients, internal teams and end customers.
What you will do:
You will develop standard and custom Jitsu dashboards, tools, processes, and capabilities to equip internal and external users with data and insights.
You will collaborate with non-data stakeholders ex. Marketing, Sales, Operations, Customer Success, etc. to understand their requirements and translate them into data products, dashboards and reports.
You will interact with clients to understand their needs and provide end-to-end data solutions.
Manage analytics dashboards and standard reporting, including requirement gathering, prototyping, development, testing, and rollout.
Create engaging and interactive business and data insights using Looker, focusing on the user experience.
Maintain, manage, and optimize security, data access models, and performance for dashboards (preferably Looker).
Implement best practices for LookML, SQL coding and data model design.
Leverage new tech like ML/AI into dashboards and data analysis to solve business problems.
What you need:
1. Experience
Minimum 3+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or BI development roles, including the design and development of scalable and performant BI dashboards using tools like Looker.
Solid experience in designing and maintaining ELT/ETL pipelines and orchestration workflows using modern tools such as dbt, Dataform, Airflow, or similar.
Proven ability to partner with product, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to build robust data solutions that drive decision-making in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
Strong understanding of cloud data platforms (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift) and data warehousing best practices.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative data development workflows.
Good-to-have:
Experience developing and maintaining semantic layers and data models in LookML or comparable tools.
Experience designing, executing, and analyzing A/B tests and controlled experiments.
2. Knowledge, Skills \& Abilities:
Advanced proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write optimized, maintainable, and modular queries for large-scale datasets.
Experience with data modeling techniques (dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas) to design scalable data products.
Deep expertise in BigQuery and Looker, including LookML development, dashboard optimization, and performance tuning.
Ability to architect and document data pipelines from ingestion to visualization, ensuring data quality and reliability throughout.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proven track record of discovering insights through data exploration and analysis.
