Role overview
We are searching for an integration developer to build and maintain software integrations across our various technology stacks, systems, databases, and third-party services. In this role, you will focus on building robust, scalable integrations using Azure cloud services to streamline data flow across business operations and enable seamless connectivity between our platforms.
To ensure success as an integration developer, you will need to have analytical and problem-solving abilities and be able to work individually and within small cross-functional teams.
Key tasks
Design and develop Azure Function Apps, Logic Apps, and Web Apps to facilitate seamless integration between technology platforms and business systems
Build and maintain API integrations connecting CRM systems, analytics platforms, digital applications and external third-party marketing services, utilising robust authentication and error handling
Implement event-driven architectures and automated workflows using Azure services to support marketing campaigns and customer journey orchestration
Develop integrations between Azure services and databases
Monitor and troubleshoot integration connectivity and performance issues affecting systems
Write clean, maintainable Python code following best practices and coding standards, including implementing proper logging, monitoring, and alerting for integration workflows
Deploy solutions using CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps practices
Create and maintain technical documentation for integration solutions
Work independently or as part of a small team to deliver integration projects on time
Collaborate with business colleagues, stakeholders, and vendors to gather requirements and understand integration needs
Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
Knowledge and Skills
Excellent proficiency in developing applications and integrations with Python and SQL
Excellent experience with developing Azure Web Apps, function apps and logic apps, and other related Azure services
Excellent knowledge of CI/CD practices and related tools
Solid understanding of cloud-native architectures and distributed systems
Development experience in other languages would be an advantage
Experience
Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in an integration developer or related role, with a strong emphasis on Azure
Proven experience in building, optimizing, and maintaining Azure-based applications and integrations
Proven experience in integrating and extracting data from external systems through various integration patterns
Experience in working within a marketing technology environment
Integration experience with CRM \& marketing systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot etc
Personal qualities
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Collaborative team player but with the ability to work alone on tasks.
Qualifications
Degree: BSc in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, or similar Azure-related certifications.
