This role is responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling the infrastructure and operational systems that support application and machine learning teams. The DevOps Engineer will focus on cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, reliability, security, and developer enablement. You will ensure the underlying platform is stable, secure, observable, and optimized for engineering teams to deploy and operate efficiently. This hands-on position offers ownership over infrastructure design, monitoring, automation, and operational processes in a fast-growing, technology-driven environment. You will work closely with engineering teams to reduce friction in development workflows while improving system performance, reliability, and compliance. This role provides an opportunity to shape core operational foundations that scale with company growth.
Accountabilities
Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable cloud infrastructure.
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows across multiple environments.
Monitor system performance, improve reliability, and manage incident response practices.
Collaborate with application and ML teams to streamline build, test, and deploy processes.
Implement infrastructure-as-code and automation to minimize manual operational tasks.
Establish and document best practices for infrastructure, security, and operational readiness.
Support production systems through on-call rotation and continuous operational improvements.
Ensure systems comply with security standards and proactively manage risk.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering.
Strong experience managing production systems in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and modern deployment practices.
Solid understanding of networking, security, observability, and reliability principles.
Proven ability to enable engineering teams through robust tooling and clear standards.
Experience collaborating with ML or data teams without owning model development.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
Nice to have: experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration, Python or TypeScript, supporting ML workloads from an infrastructure perspective, or startup environment experience.
