DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a central role in supporting and optimizing production infrastructure within a dynamic cloud-based environment. You'll focus on automating systems, improving deployment processes, enhancing scalability, and ensuring the reliability of mission-critical services. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll build robust solutions using modern IaaS tools, optimize cloud operations, and contribute to the ongoing transformation of healthcare technology through innovation and data-driven design. Accountabilities:
Automate and optimize cloud infrastructure and services across AWS environments
Create, test, and secure Windows, Linux, and serverless solutions to support internal teams and production systems
Design and maintain infrastructure-as-code templates using tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
Capture system, service, and security telemetry for dashboards, reports, and analytics
Collaborate with vendor support teams to resolve technical issues, perform upgrades, and drive continuous improvement
Manage CI/CD pipelines and streamline product releases using tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, ensuring maximum uptime, availability, and security
Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance infrastructure performance and reduce costs
Work directly with developers and operations teams to ensure smooth integrations and consistent deployment practices
Requirements
8+ years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in complex technical support or DevOps environments
Strong expertise with AWS services (RDS, S3, IAM, Lambda, SSM) and infrastructure tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes, Argo CD, and Crossplane
Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Python, Bash, or equivalent)
Experience managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub
Deep understanding of virtualization, SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL), and cloud security best practices
Proven ability to design, deploy, and maintain large-scale, high-availability systems
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Technical certifications (AWS, Microsoft) and experience with distributed systems (Kafka, Hadoop, Elasticsearch) are a strong plus
