Job Description
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Lead with a strong background in DevOps support and development. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, proven experience in managing teams, and the ability to handle operations across 3 rotational shifts with rotational weekly offs.
Key Responsibilities
● Lead and manage DevOps support and development operations.
● Oversee shift schedules and ensure smooth handover between rotational teams.
● Provide technical leadership and guidance on DevOps tools, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance.
● Manage incident, problem, and change management processes.
● Ensure round-the-clock availability and SLA adherence by managing 3 rotational shifts.
● Act as a point of escalation for critical issues and incidents.
Required Skills \& Qualifications
6–10 years of experience in DevOps Engineering, with at least 2–3 years in a lead/mentorship capacity.
● Strong expertise in CI/CD, automation, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
● Experience in DevOps support operations across multiple shifts.
● Excellent communication and leadership skills.
● Ability to work in rotational shifts and manage rotational weekly offs.
Team \& Shift Management
○ Manage and mentor a team of 3+ L1 Engineers.
○ Create and oversee shift schedules, handovers, and coverage.
○ Prepare daily shift reports and ensure smooth transitions.
● NOC \& Incident Management
○ Lead and manage NOC calls / incident bridges.
○ Coordinate responses during live incidents and escalations.
○ Ensure real-time communication and structured resolution.
● Client Communication \& Stakeholder Management
○ Conduct weekly/monthly client meetings for SLA reviews and performance
updates.
○ Act as the primary point of contact for escalations.
○ Deliver clear, concise incident summaries for both technical and executive
stakeholders.
● SLA \& Process Governance
○ Ensure strict adherence to SLAs and escalation paths.
○ Track SLA metrics and share regular performance reports.
○ Enforce compliance with runbooks, security, and audit requirements.
● Monitoring \& Tooling Awareness
○ Familiar with monitoring platforms (Datadog, Prometheus, CloudWatch, etc.).
○ Ability to validate alerts, correlate incidents, and guide L1 engineers in triage.
○ Oversee CI/CD job monitoring (GitHub, Jenkins, CircleCI) at the L1 level.
● Reporting \& Documentation
○ Create daily, weekly, and monthly reports (incidents, SLA metrics, trends).
○ Maintain knowledge base and runbook updates.
○ Ensure post-mortems and root cause documentation are completed.
● Leadership \& Communication
○ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
○ Strong organizational and leadership qualities to balance workloads and
priorities.
○ Ability to motivate and develop team skills.
● Compliance \& Security Awareness
○ Ensure team follows data security, access control, and compliance policies.
○ Maintain proper documentation for audits and client trust.
● Continuous Improvement \& Collaboration
○ Identify recurring issues and propose automation/monitoring enhancements.
○ Work with L2/L3 and DevOps teams for knowledge transfer and runbook
improvements.
○ Promote collaboration and cross-training within the team.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
