About Jolt
Jolt is a focus and habit-building app that helps people cut screen addiction and stay present. We sit at the intersection of behaviour, product and technology, and we want data to guide every important decision.
What you will do
You will help ship features end-to-end. That means turning problems into clear requirements, working daily with design and engineering, running experiments, and using data to decide what to build next. You will work closely with the founders and own parts of the product roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
Break down user problems into PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and clear flows
Partner with design on UX, copy, and onboarding or paywall improvements
Work with engineers to scope, prioritise, and ship features with high quality
Define success metrics for every release and track impact post launch
Run A/B tests and iterate based on results (activation, retention, conversion, engagement)
Improve core journeys: onboarding, focus sessions, challenge flows, notifications, subscriptions
Gather user feedback via reviews, support, interviews, and in-app behaviour signals
Maintain a tight execution rhythm: weekly priorities, release notes, and stakeholder updates
What we are looking for
0 to 3 years of experience in product, growth, consulting, analytics, or a startup role
Strong product thinking: can simplify messy problems into clear MVPs
Comfort with data and analytics tools (PostHog, Amplitude); bonus if you can write SQL
Great communication: crisp writing, structured thinking, and strong stakeholder management
High urgency and ownership: you move fast, unblock teams, and push to finish
Understanding of mobile UX fundamentals and subscription products is a plus
Bonus: experience with behavioural frameworks, habit loops, or notification strategies
Nice to have
Shipped features in a consumer app
Experience writing PRDs and managing backlogs in Jira, Linear, or Notion
Basic understanding of experimentation design and product analytics
