JustPlay is looking for a Senior Gaming Analyst to join the team. Youâll work hand-in-hand with our cross-functional Games team to bring clarity, insights, and data-driven confidence to every product decision - and ultimately make the player experience even better.
We're looking for someone who's naturally curious about both the technical challenges of data analysis and the business questions that drive our product strategy. You'll need to take initiative and work proactively, bring creativity to your problem-solving approach, and be eager to go beyond the numbers to truly understand what makes our players tick.
Job requirements
At least 5 years of experience in an analytics role, preferably in product analytics focusing on consumer-facing products
At least 2 years experience analyzing mobile games, including understanding of gaming-specific metrics (retention curves, progression funnels, IAA, IAP, ARPDAU). Experience working across a portfolio of games is a plus
Experience designing tracking specifications and overseeing implementation of event tracking
Experience planning, conducting and analyzing A/B tests, with understanding of statistical significance, hypothesis testing, and experimentation best practices
Experience defining and implementing metrics and building clear and beautiful visualizations using BI platforms such as Looker, Tableau, or Metabase
Proficient in SQL and Python, including packages such as Pandas and Numpy
Experience with collaborative analysis environments such as Google Colab or Jupyter notebooks
Hands-on experience with data warehouses such as BigQuery or Snowflake
Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret complex data
Excellent communication skills and proven experience collaborating with business stakeholders
Experience using Mobile Attribution and Mobile Analytics tools for measuring user acquisition and engagement is a plus
This job is not for you if
You don't mind doing analyses whose results will be ignored
You enjoy repetitive tasks that do not require you to think or be creative
You don't believe automation is a good use of your time
You don't care about business goals and measuring impact
You're comfortable using methods without understanding the science behind them
You see games just as data points rather than experiences that delight players
You are not looking for an environment that challenges you
You don't ask challenging questions
But if you're passionate about using data to make games more engaging, love collaborating with creative teams, and thrive on driving measurable impact - we'd love to hear from you!

Plan, define, conduct and evaluate A/B tests to drive experimentation-led product development. Manage the testing roadmap
