Restaurant Manager
The Role:
Oversee kitchen and service teams and manage all areas of the restaurant
[Financial Management]
Meet targets on revenue and operation cost management including food, beverage, maintenance, utility and labor costs, etc.
Follow company standards
Responsible for ensuring that all financial (invoices, reporting, etc.) and administrative duties are completed on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures
[Operation Management]
Set up and implement policies and standard operating procedures (SOP)
Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents
Manage shifts, daily decision making, scheduling, planning while upholding standards, product quality and cleanliness
[Supervision of Kitchen Team \& Food Quality]
Lead Kitchen Team to
Enforce sanitary practices for food handling and general cleanliness. Ensure compliance with SOP
Responsible for ensuring consistent high quality of food and service and maintain professional image
Estimate F\&B costs and drive for efficient procurement and food waste minimization
[Customer Service]
Ensure impeccable guest service in all areas by monitoring, evaluating, and auditing
Respond to complaints, taking actions to turn dissatisfied guests into repeated guests
Building relationships with preferred patrons/VIPs/internal customers
[HR Management]
Direct hiring, supervision, staff orientation and training
Develop employees by providing ongoing feedback and reviews
Prepare schedules and ensure that the restaurant is staffed for all shifts
Maintains a favorable working relationship with all company employees
The Person:
Bachelor of degree in hotel/restaurant management is desirable
Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in restaurant operations
Qualified as sommelier or with good wine knowledge is an advantage
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, fluent in Putonghua is an advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and data analysis
Self-discipline, multi-tasking and initiative with good leadership to encourage good teamwork
Possess good communication skills for dealing with staff with diverse backgrounds
