Job Description

We are a fast-growing startup looking for a Frontend Developer to work alongside our full-stack development team on the ongoing build of our web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience delivering polished, responsive interfaces with Laravel and Livewire, and preferably some hands-on experience with React Native for mobile. They will also be responsible for developing and maintaining our corporate website in WordPress. Attention to detail is essential – we are looking for someone who takes pride in UI precision and consistency.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with full-stack developers to implement and refine frontend features across web and mobile.

Build and maintain responsive, component-driven interfaces using Laravel, Livewire and Tailwind CSS.

Assist with React Native app development and ensure design and behaviour consistency across platforms.

Translate Figma or design assets into pixel-perfect, performant UI.

Ensure accessibility, performance and responsiveness across devices and browsers.

Participate in regular reviews to maintain quality and consistency across the platform.

Be available for some office days in our HQ in Gainsborough, or at another designated location.

Requirements

Proven experience in frontend development with Laravel and Livewire.

Strong understanding of modern workflows (Blade components, Tailwind, Alpine.js, etc.).

Familiarity with Reactive Native and mobile UI implementation.

Experience building and managing WordPress websites, including bespoke themes and plugins.

Excellent attention to detail (layouts, spacing, typography, and user interaction must be second nature).

Comfortable using Git and working in collaboration with backend developers.

Ability to work efficiently in a startup environment with shifting priorities.

Desirable

Experience in mobile or PWA optimisation.

Familiarity with API integrations and data handling.

Understanding of UI/UX principles and component systems.

Experience using Figma and other design software.

Previous experience working on apps that sync or communicate with web platforms.

Knowledge of ERP, POS, or planogram systems.

Pay: £40,441.99-£50,162.38 per year
