The Role

We’re looking for a versatile

Software Developer

to join a small, hands-on team for our client in Melbourne. You’ll primarily focus on

backend systems

, but you’ll also work across the full tech stack.

What You’ll Do

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and data processing systems (primarily Python)

Solve complex problems across multiple parts of the stack

Collaborate on

robust, scalable, and secure solutions on AWS

Develop and maintain APIs consumed by front-end applications

Contribute to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

Work with a modern tech stack: Python, Postgres, Docker, AWS

What You’ll Bring

Proven software engineering experience with strong

Python

Skills

Excellent problem-solving and independent thinking

Experience with

AWS

and cloud infrastructure

Familiarity with standard

DevOps tools

(Linux, Docker, git, CI/CD)

Passion for shipping high-quality, reliable code

Right to work in Australia

Bonus Points:

Experience with

React.js, TypeORM, TypeScript, Node.js
