Role Overview
The Front End Developer I is responsible for building and supporting newly designed websites and other web-based projects, while maintaining critically high standards for quality control and embodying the Patch Values. They work closely with the Design and Copywriting teams to organize, plan, and develop internal or external special projects. The Front End Developer I is a knowledge resource for our platforms and processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Responsibilities)
1. Infuse the Patch Values into your work ethic, every day and every interaction
2. Initiate build-out with preliminary comps
3. Build best-in-class websites and landing pages according to the production calendar set by their
stakeholders
4. Consult with creative teams and stakeholders to guide projects, using best practices
5. Problem-solve and fix performance glitches across any browser
6. QA company sites and landing pages
7. Stay current with technology trends and continually advance your coding expertise
8. Other duties as assigned
POSITION REQUIREMENTS (Qualifications)
1. Some college preferred
2. 2+ years of experience in web production or similar environment
3. Intermediate-to-advanced level experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript â defined as the ability to write,
analyze, debug, and deliver clean, validated, maintainable code
4. Capable of building responsive websites
5. Accustomed to rigid QA processes and extreme attention to detail
6. Excellent understanding of the web development project cycle
7. Strong background in usability, information architecture, and user experience
8. Willingness to keep up with the latest in internet technologies
9. Excellent organizational, analytical, problem solving, and research skills
10. Ability to speak and collaborate cross-departmentally and with high-level stakeholders
11. Proficient with Photoshop
12. Familiarity with website accessibility and Section 508 requirements (Americans with Disabilities Act)
13. Must be legally allowed to work in the U.S.
14. Kasasa values the importance of flexibility and collaboration. We offer a hybrid work model where you'll
join us in the office for at least three full workdays each week, allowing for meaningful in-person
connections and teamwork. The remaining two days offer the option to work remotely, providing you with
the balance and autonomy to excel in your role.
15. You will be asked to participate in culture related meetings, activities, and events. We firmly believe that
