Role Overview
As a Local Product Specialist, you will be the primary link between HQ strategy and local execution. You are responsible for ensuring that all product offerings, merchant integrations, and operational processes are tailored to the local market, compliant with regional standards, and executed with technical precision. You will work closely with sales, tech stakeholders (KBTG VN), and external vendors to maintain product health and drive local growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Implementation \& Merchant Onboarding
Support the end-to-end customer onboarding process, including translation and review of application forms.
Lead the implementation of special services for new customers to ensure a high-quality "funnel" experience.
Manage local merchant integrations (QR, Soundbox, EDC, Payment Gateway, SoftPos) and oversee UI/UX design coordination for integration projects.
2. Compliance \& Regulatory Research
Conduct research on local banking practices and competitor benchmarks to ensure regulatory compliance (RCSA/PMF/AUDIT).
Interpret and apply local requirements to match bank protocols, acting as a consultant for HQ on local industry standards.
3. Contract \& Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with Sales and Product teams to ensure local contract scopes and requirements align with actual deliverables.
Work closely with vendors for day-to-day physical asset management and conduct quarterly inventory checks of machines and stock.
4. Quality Assurance \& Technical Testing
Perform rigorous software testing, including 4X testing and regression testing, twice monthly to ensure system stability.
Support Product Monitoring through Link POS testing and implementation support (approximately 3 times per month).
5. Incident Management \& Support
Handle high-priority "Big Size" customer incidents and coordinate with KBTG VN to rectify technical problems and perform retests.
Manage local dispute resolutions on-demand and verify the implications of system bulletins on local operations.
6. Sales Support \& Benchmarking
Assess the feasibility of local sales requests, providing benchmarking and identifying "best-fit" solutions for high-impact opportunities on a weekly basis.
Required Skills \& Qualifications
Market Insight:
Strong ability to research and interpret local banking regulations and competitor behaviors.
Technical Aptitude:
Experience with UAT, SIT, regression testing, and POS/Payment Gateway integrations.
Operational Excellence:
Proven track record in inventory management, contract review, and incident resolution.
Communication:
Excellent coordination skills to act as the bridge between HQ, local sales teams, and technical stakeholders (KBTG VN).
Analytical Thinking:
Ability to prioritize high-impact sales requests and identify technical implications of system updates.
Summary of Frequency \& Impact
Daily/Weekly:
Sales feasibility assessments and incident coordination.
Monthly:
Technical regression testing and product monitoring/POS testing.
Quarterly:
Physical asset and stock inventory audits.
