Hours: 30 per week

Payrate : $30.00 to $36.00 per hour

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead our busy supermarket. If you have a passion for customer service, team leadership, and store management, this is the perfect opportunity for you to showcase your skills in a fun, fast-paced environment.

As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring smooth service, excellent customer satisfaction, and efficient staff management. You’ll play a key role in driving sales, managing inventory, and maintaining store standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Organise and control the daily operations of the supermarket to ensure the store operates efficiently and achieves sales and service targets.

Determine appropriate stock levels and merchandising standards to ensure products meet customer demand and maximise sales.

Plan and implement purchasing activities including monitoring stock levels, coordinating product orders and managing supplier relationships.

Set pricing and implementing promotional and marketing activities to increase store revenue.

Monitor sales performance and analyse store results to improve operational efficiency and profitability.

Maintain accurate records of stock levels, deliveries, wastage and financial transactions within the store.

Budgeting and cost control activities to ensure the store operates within financial targets.

Manage store employees, including allocating duties, preparing staff rosters and monitoring staff performance.

Assist in recruitment, training and development of staff to maintain high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.

Handle customer enquiries and complaints to ensure a positive customer experience.

Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, food safety standards and company policies.

Oversee store presentation, merchandising displays and overall cleanliness to maintain a safe and attractive retail environment.

Report store performance and operational matters to the business owner and contribute to planning improvements for sales growth.

Skills \& Experience Required:

Relevant experience for the last 2 years OR qualifications level 4 or above.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage independently and motivate a team.

Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Knowledge of inventory management, sales reporting, and cost control.
