Role \& Company Overview:
Our client is a leading Australian-based alternative asset management firm managing $4 billion. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join the team, reporting directly to the Managing Director - Product and Operations.
Your focus will be on product management and leading the implementation of a product management framework; created to support the firm's varied suite of investment products. You’ll work closely with internal teams and key stakeholders to manage the day-to-day running of a broad range of investment products, including registered and unregistered schemes, spanning both Australian and Global product structures.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and refine the product management framework across registered and unregistered investment schemes.
Oversee product governance and daily operations, collaborating with global stakeholders including fund managers, compliance, and trustees.
Manage product change initiatives such as new class launches, liquidity updates, and structural enhancements.
Conduct product analysis and benchmarking to inform growth and development strategy.
Drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, investor experience, and product delivery.
Skills \& Experience Required:
7+ years’ experience in product management, ideally within real asset or alternative investments.
Degree in Finance or Accounting; (CFA or CA preferred).
Strong understanding of global investment structures and Australian regulatory frameworks.
Proven stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience preparing PDS, TMDs, and fund operational documentation.
