We are seeking a Data Engineer to join a leading organization in the education sector. In this key role, you will design, build, and optimize data pipelines and platforms that enable data-driven insights across the business. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, scalability, and accessibility, helping the organization harness the full potential of its data to improve outcomes and operations.
Responsibilities As the Data Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include designing and implementing robust data pipelines and ETL workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and SQL. You will collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business teams to deliver efficient, high-quality data solutions that support analytics and reporting. You will also be responsible for maintaining data models, improving data quality, and ensuring system reliability within the organization's Azure ecosystem.
Requirements To be successful in this role, you should have 3 to 6 years of experience in data engineering or data platform development, with strong hands-on expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF) and SQL. Experience working within Azure cloud environments and familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL best practices is essential.
Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or Power BI will be highly regarded, though not mandatory. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders are key to succeeding in this role.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
